Mr. Joe Kwok is an all-round seasoned business executive. His wealth of experience comes from 35 years of running multinational and regional conglomerates.

In addition to his extensive and comprehensive experiences in property investment, development, and asset management, Mr Kwok is also a well-recognized business strategist with global perspective. He advised various business units within the Jardine Matheson Group. His involvement in Nan Fung Group’s life science endeavor expanded his horizon, and he also served Sino Ocean Group as its Board’s Executive Director.

As a leading figure within China’s real estate sector. Mr. Kwok’s work spans more than 20 prominent cities throughout Mainland China. From the bustling metropolises of Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou to the vibrant hubs of Shenzhen, Chongqing, Wuhan, Suzhou, Kunming, Hangzhou, and Chengdu, Mr. Kwok has left an enduring mark on the landscape of each locale.

During his professional career, Mr Kwok held key positions at top notch conglomerates namely Hongkong Land Holdings, Nam Fung Group and Kerry Properties. He spent 19 years with HongKong Land Holdings Ltd, a London- and Singapore-listed company founded in 1889, and served as President of China Residential Property. He founded the company's Mainland China property business while creating an asset portfolio of around ¥100 billion RMB, covering 10 million square meters of property development and asset management across five major cities.

Mr. Kwok's work resulted in years of profit flow. He introduced an innovative CRM system, which expanded China's customer base for residential purchases in Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore. During his tenure, he provided critical analyses on when and how to invest in the Mainland China’s property market and formed strategies for prospective cities, partnerships, and projects to achieve low-risk, high-return liquid investments.

Mr. Kwok's leadership was instrumental in his role as Chief Executive of China Property at Nan Fung Group. Over a period of seven years, he successfully rebuilt the Group's China portfolio with a focus on the first-tier cities, selling ¥20 billion RMB worth of assets and recovered ¥4 billion RMB debts. In addition to these achievements, he introduced the "ONE Team, ONE Dream” initiative. He played a key role in reshaping  the "Nam Fung City," which was dubbed the best family mall in Shanghai.

In 1991, Mr. Kwok became the first HK-based real estate management professional to identify, evaluate, negotiate and conclude the first Sino-foreign property joint venture in Beijing. Most recently, he was appointed the Chief Advisor (Mainland China) for Kerry Properties Ltd, an HK-listed real estate developer with investments in 15 cities across the Mainland China, including trophy projects in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Shenzhen.

Mr. Kwok's career has been defined by his entrepreneurship and pioneering spirit in Mainland China’s real estate market. He has consistently identified growth opportunities, developed China-specific risk mitigation strategies through operation management systems, and provided business leaders with insightful market intelligence. His extensive network of major real estate developers, international investors, global financial institutions, and key players in various sectors is a testament to his ability to connect and collaborate with business leaders.

Mr. Kwok graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in sociology and obtained a master's degree in real estate from the University of Hong Kong. In 2006, he completed the "Global CEO Program for China'' jointly organized by CEIBS-Harvard Business School and IESE Business School, while also acting as an Advisor to MIT China Future City.
